Spring/Summer 2027 Lingerie Colors: How to Build a Collection Palette

Color forecasts for Spring/Summer 2027 do not point to one dominant palette, but to several contrasting directions. These include cool light tones, deep blues and reds, fresh yellow-greens, and an earthy base.

For a lingerie brand, this creates a practical structure. More understated colors can remain in the core range, while stronger shades can be used for seasonal capsules.

Blue: From Cool and Light to Deep and Saturated

WGSN and Coloro named Luminous Blue the Color of the Year for 2027. It is a deep, vivid blue positioned as a versatile shade across different product categories.

In ECI’s lingerie forecast, the blue group is interpreted more broadly. It includes the cool, pale Ice Melt, softer blue shades, and the more saturated Blue Ribbon. This range works across several product types, from almost weightless mesh to more structured styles designed to be visible as part of an outfit.

Pink and Red Become More Contrasting

In the Première Vision palette, pink appears both as the cool, pale Iced Pink and in more vibrant combinations with red. The red group moves away from traditionally romantic interpretations towards richer, more energetic color.

The lingerie forecast expands this direction with shades such as Creole Pink and Tomato. This means the pink and red part of a collection does not have to rely exclusively on powdery tones. A light lingerie set can sit alongside a bold, saturated accent color.

Yellow and Green Take a Softer Direction

SS27 is not limited to bright citrus shades. Lingerie color forecasts also include the warm, soft Banana and the muted yellow-green Lime Sherbet.

In the WGSN and Coloro forecast, the green group is represented by Meadowland Green, a calm mid-tone green. These shades can be used as an alternative to traditional pastels: they feel seasonal without requiring complex contrasting combinations.

The Neutral Base Becomes Warmer

One of the key colors identified by WGSN and Coloro is Clay, a warm, earthy neutral with a pinkish undertone. In lingerie forecasts, it appears alongside greys, cool greens, and softened natural tones.

This does not mean abandoning black, white, or nude shades. Core colors should be selected according to sales performance and brand positioning, rather than seasonal forecasts alone. New neutrals can complement the permanent palette without replacing it entirely.

How to Distribute Colors Across a Collection

For a smaller production run, it makes more sense not to bring the entire forecast into a single collection. A practical palette might consist of a permanent core, one light seasonal shade, and one stronger accent color.

For example, a cool pale blue or soft yellow could work well for a lightweight lace capsule. Deep blue, red, or pink can be reserved for styles designed to be visible under clothing or worn as bra tops.

With sheer materials, differences between the colors of the main fabric, lining, and elastics are particularly noticeable. For this reason, all components should be coordinated together rather than selected from separate photographs. Before placing a production order, colors should be checked using physical material samples.

The Private Label Latvia team helps brands select materials and develop lingerie samples. The color palette can be evaluated using actual fabrics and components before bulk production.
